DNA is the new 4,000-square-foot retail and interior design studio of Jesper and Cathi Pedersen in Little Italy. They are showcasing top Scandinavian and Italian furniture, lighting, rugs and art. Manufacturers include Fritz Hansen (who supplied all the furniture for the new Museum of Modern Art in New York), Moroso, Jesse and Carl Hansen and Son, and kitchen and bath design by HTH Denmark.
Classic mid-century pieces like the Egg and Swan chairs by Arne Jacobsen and Hans Wegner’s Wishbone chair also are found in addition to a new generation of designers from Denmark.
Through May 31 there is a special exhibit including the Poul Kjaerholm white furniture (pictured) chosen for the new Museum of Modern Art.
