We first used him for a small project over 10 years ago, so when we decided to start our major remodel, we knew exactly who we wanted for this project. He has embraced our vision and helped to create just what we wanted, a peaceful and understated elegant sanctuary that has a clean, modern yet warm esthetic with a European feel. His contractor is fantastic with great attention to detail and everyone has been easy to work with. We have already recommended him to several people and will continue to do so!

Jesper and his collaborators are incredibly creative and very detail-oriented professionals. Jesper perfectly grasped the idea of what I wanted for my condo. He provided options and computer-generated images, so I could clearly understand the plans, budgets and everything else I needed. This made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire renovation process. As a result, despite my condo is small, it has new, harmonious, bright and functional spaces. I met with 3 design groups for a kitchen/bar room remodel for a mid-century house and went with Jesper, the owner. Jesper brought me to several of his job sites to look at finishes and construction details. He was really easy to work with and he was on call from start to finish the entire time. Communication was great. I was able to talk to his past clients and everyone had very high remarks for him and the team. He was able to recommend a great contractor and even some extra sub-contractors for specialty items. His ideas are clean, fresh and modern which is exactly what we wanted. He was able to recommend European cabinetry and went back and forth to make sure every detail was taken care of. The other designers and contractors I met with had a 'flip' mentality similar to HGTV which I didn't want.

We have been using DNA since 2001. They are incredibly reliable, honest and creative. We felt in love with their design to the point that we can’t go back to anything else. Everything they have done for us remains in great condition and up to date. We’ve used their services for two major renovations and upgrades and after 17 years we are about to go through a new small upgrade and here they are as good as when we first met them so many years ago. Jesper Pedersen is amazing. He is one of a kind here in San Diego as no one else matches his Danish design experience and architectural education. Jesper was outstanding in every way. I chose to work with Jesper after seeing his work on his Web site and meeting him. I rarely write reviews, but I feel that I really needed to write one this time. DNA has completely re-designed our personal residence 12 years ago. They did such a great job and were so attentive to our ideas, to what was important to us, and the ergonomics of the complex space and managed to design a beautiful and timeless modern home that we have been enjoying ever since. The communications was always very straight forward, and considering the caliber of design, the fees were very reasonable. Because of that great previous experience, we recently had DNA re-design a very modern 4,000 Ocean view house that came out truly amazing and most of all on budget! I would definitely recommend DNA

Jesper completely transformed the interior of our 1970's ranch house, creating a polished and inviting home with clean, modern lines that is both functional and beautiful. We initially met Jesper at his DNA showroom, where we admired the stunning collection of Italian and European kitchen and furniture manufacturers he represents. Jesper came to our house for a design consultation and we absolutely loved his ideas. Jesper is a wonderful designer, with impeccable taste. Over the past 3 years, we’ve worked with him on numerous projects throughout our property, both large and small. Everything from comprehensive design and oversight of kitchen and bathroom renovations, to consulting on paint/tile/furniture selections, to outdoor hardscaping even. While his usual aesthetic is European modern, he’s done a fantastic job of adapting his vision to suit our more “rustic” modern home, to great effect. We’re incredibly pleased with the results. Jesper is warm, friendly, responsive, and very down-to-earth. He’s accommodating but also knows when to stick to his instincts!
